Rule #23 - Faking It

Before you take up residence in a handicapped bathroom stall, it would be best to make sure no one in a wheelchair is standing... er... sitting... in line too. If you see a set of wheels roll up to the door whilst seated on the toilet, do not panic. Simply flush and adopt a limp as you exit the stall to justify your occupancy. Ignore all the death stares. Then immediately pray for forgiveness. Since you're at church.

ahh, no way!! You know, that happened to my grandpa once, and when he apologized all over himself to the guy in the wheelchair, the guy told him, "hey, don't worry about it, we should have to wait in line just as much as you all do!". what a way to look at things. lo.

Oh no! That is too funny! That is totally going to happen to me one day, although I try my hardest to avoid the handicapped stall if possible. But if there's a line, you know everyone goes in there anyway!

That is too funny. I would just die of embarrassment so technically I would sort of then be entitled to use it anyway :)

Oh girl. feeling for you on this one. had someone yell at me once for using that stall, "you're not handicapped!" I feel anxious every time I'm "forced" to use the large stall now.

best. story. ever.

I have never had that happen, but any time I sneak into that stall I sweat thinking that when I open the door someone will be there who really needs that stall. I feel for you!!!
