A Question & An Answer

Many of you asked about the Mr. T necklace I was wearing to meet Ave over the weekend. Well, I pity the fool who's never been to my favorite Charlotte store JT Posh. In fact, just yesterday I stopped in and found a pair of Rock & Republic skinnies for $30. Hard to beat! Seriously, if you live in Charlotte, or if you ever visit, hit me up. I'll take you. I have coupons.

Secondly, here's the question of the day: Do you think your "blog persona" accurately represents who you are in real life?

My answer is yes, but I think if you met me in person you'd realize that I'm much nicer than I think this blog portrays. You'll also find that I find myself in awkward situations even more often than I share here. And I'm probably more insecure than I let on through this little slice of the blogosphere. How about you?

P.S. Don't forget to enter my Carolina Pad giveaway!

haha that's a really good question about the blog persona. i feel like i'm painfully honest on my blog, just like I am in real life - so I'd say I'm accurately portrayed :) haha .. the only thing that people probably don't see on my blog that i'm all about in real life is my sarcasm.. i use it occasionally, but it's pretty hard to relay over the internet!!

I think that mine definitely accurately displays who I am....very much so, and I wonder if someone met me in person if they would agree?

I totally agree with you on the second part.... my blog probably seems that I come off whiney... but honestly I am not! =)

I like to think I try to portay the real Mrs. G on my blog, but I also use my blog as a journal and sometimes things can get a little to heavy... even for me!

I think you seem very nice on your blog. I too feel like I sound more confident and put together on my blog than I am in real life, but I think that's partially because when I write my life in my mind, I see things as going swimmingly, but the execution just gets a little jumbled sometimes! hee hee

I'm pretty much myself on my blog.
Love JT Posh - great store & I love the fact that it is right there at Las Ramblas!

I'd like to think my blog is an extension of my personality but as Kell said, it's hard to use sarcasm without offending people and sarcasm is a big part of me! I actually think the blog allows me to write and speak more freely than my normal reserved self.

Good question though, it really made me stop and think!

I think (hope) that I portray myself accurately on my blog. I write what I think (usually - although I don't want to offend people). It's a very good question.

That necklace is super cute! Sad I'm far away from Charlotte so I could experience that store for myself!

I think and hope that I portray myself accurately on my blog - I typically just write about what goes on in my life and what I'm thinking!

Cute necklace. I think I'm 'me' on my blog, the difference being is that I can talk about my passion for clothes, design, beautiful things with people who feel the same way! Not usually the case in 'real live', which had made me very isolated. I enjoy having friends to chat with, that is really what blogging is all about ;-)

this is a great question- I think I portray myself accurately, I mean, I don't go into fine detail about some aspects of my life, but my essence is there and shines through!
