Incon"vein"ient

I have to go in for another vein procedure in about an hour. I'm expecting multiple, multiple injections near my lady bits, so you'll excuse me for not looking forward to it one bit. My decrepit veins are the medical malady that never ends. I started this bloggity blog the evening of my first surgery in December, in which one of my veins was completely removed. Yuck.

I thought I had finally shed my compression hose, but alas, they'll be back on these stems by 2:30. Fabulous. The silver lining is that I'm excused from work for the rest of the day.

In other news, I'm dying for some riding boots. Maybe today is the day I get them... as a pity party prize perhaps? Where can I score a gorgeous pair for a gorgeously low price?

I always buy my boots at DSW, they range from super affordable to super pricey... but it's a good resource, also piperlime.com although they are on the pricier end.

You can always do a search on thefind.com for riding boots in the color you want, and price range you want and it will find them from any department store, online store, or online auction site... very handy!

Sorry about your ongoing veiny struggle... booo.... you definitely deserve some "greenback therapy" as my grandmother calls it! Sending get well wishes your way :)

Good luck today!

Yes, you must get some riding boots. I bought my first pair a few of years ago for $10 (on clearance) at Shoe Carnival. Then the next year I bought an affordable pair from Aldo. Then I bought a pair last Spring from Nordstroms. Love them!

Well bless your heart! That isn't much fun at all. Surely you need to purchase some lovely boots to make yourself recover more quickly. Yes! That makes perfect sense :)

Hope everything goes okay and that it's not too painful! You definitely deserve some great boots! My Marshall's had some cute ones the other day, but none in my size. All of the others I've seen are fairly expensive, so I guess I'm putting some on my list and saving up!

Hope everything goes well today!

For riding boots, I'd do a Zappos or Piperlime search. I'd also check a tack store (ie, riding store - Schneider's online is a good one); the ones actually used for riding are often cheaper and better made than the fashion ones I see.
